It was only his third time on the ice.

I had told him in fall that we’d be getting him skates this year but he wasn’t interested. He was scared he’d fall. So, I kind of left it at that…figured there was plenty of time for him to learn. Then  a few weeks ago he got to skate while spending time with his aunties and uncles and they gifted him with a pair of skates. (yup, they spoil him.)

So, that’s how I ended up at the arena this morning.

He’s still very timid on the skates, but I noticed some improvement from last week. He definitely has fun though..that’s what counts. Only half a year of us spending these kind of mornings together before he is off to school!!

Ok, yay for me…I’m two for two this week for taking photos and blogging!   Time to get some supper in the oven.
