Florida: getting there

It’s time to share my Florida photos from last month. I’ve actually printed them already too but haven’t remembered to take them anywhere to show family, etc. I did take photos throughout the trip, but I didn’t stress about it too much. I got whatever I got..it was a good feeling to live in the moment!

I believe we left early on a Monday afternoon with plans to drive down to Minneapolis that day. On the way we encountered very icy roads and a lot of this.

A long line of vehicles waiting due to an accident up ahead. There were countless vehicles in the ditch. What should have been a 6 1/2 – 7 hour trip took about 9 hours, but we made it safely…PTL! (praise the Lord! )

We stayed in Minneapolis for the night, and got shuttled to the airport the next morning. Everything about the airport was new and interesting for this little guy. He was super patient about waiting for the flights.

I think he felt like he was on the set of Mighty Machines.

I can’t say enough about how good he was the entire trip. From waiting in airports, to waiting in lines at Disney, he did not complain or whine. He was amazing.

He loved the flights…on the first one especially he made us chuckle. After having been strapped into his seatbelt he exclaimed, “3, 2, 1..blast off!!”
